Terms & Conditions
*All children must be accompanied by an adult when arriving to class.
*No one is allowed to enter the building without the coach's permission. When waiting to enter the building we ask that you stand in a line at each of the markers (blue when dropping off and yellow when picking up).
*Children must bring their own water bottle with their name on it.
*Children must go to the toilet before arriving at class.
*All children must be dropped off and picked up on time for class, if the child is more than 15 minutes late they will not be able to take part in class.
*Parent/guardian will not be allowed to wait inside the building while child’s class is taking place.
*Children must have appropriate clothing for class, no baggy clothing or crop tops will be allowed. All long hair must be tied back and no jewellery (if ears are newly pierced they must be covered by plasters).
*Please make sure your child is wearing shoes that they can take off and put on by themselves.
*In the event that I (The Parent/Guardian) cannot be reached in case of an emergency affecting my child at O'Neills Gymnastics, I hereby give permission to the qualified first aider to administer treatment to my child.
*O’Neills Gymnastics shall have the right to make all decisions regarding a student's fitness to participate. O’Neills Gymnastics shall have the right to dismiss a student if the child or parent exhibits unacceptable behaviour which prevents our staff from safely supervising him/her or proves detrimental to him/herself, other gymnasts or staff members as determined by the O’Neills Gymnastics directors or if the child's parents make an unreasonable demand upon O’Neills Gymnastics.
*By the very nature of the activity, gymnastics carries a risk of physical injury. No matter how careful the gymnast and the coaches are no matter how many spotters are used, no matter what height is used on what landing surface exist, the risk cannot be eliminated. Reduced yes, but never eliminated. Gymnastics or any activity that involves motion, rotation, and height in a unique environment carries with it a reasonable assumption of risk. O’Neills Gymnastics is abided by law to inform all participants and their parents or guardians of the risk involved in the activity of gymnastics. Anyone participating in the O’Neills Gymnastics programs (along with those legally responsible for the participant) must adhere to the safety rules governing the gymnasium/hall.
*All members of O’Neills Gymnastics are required to purchase British Gymnastics Insurance to take part in classes. Insurance will not need to be purchased until October 2024 and we will send an email with all details closer to the time.*
